Step-by-Step Guide to Sign Up on theswapp.io

Follow these steps to get started with SWAPP:

1. Visit the SWAPP Website

   Open your browser and go to thesoulwinningapp.com. On the homepage, look for the Sign Up button, typically located in the top-right corner.

2. Select “Register for free”

   Click on Register for free to begin the registration process. This option is designed for both churches and fellowship groups looking to manage their outreach, prayer, events, and communication activities within one custom church APP.

   
   

3. Fill in Your Details

   
   

   You’ll be prompted to enter the following information:

   • Church or Group Name: Enter the name of your church or fellowship group (more on this below).

   • Email Address: Use an email address you have access to, as you’ll need to verify it.

   • Password: Create a secure password for your account.

   • Phone Number: Provide a contact number for account verification (optional in some cases).

   • Zip Code and Address: Enter your address or search for your church on google maps.

   Once you’ve filled in all required fields, click Submit or Create Account. SWAPP will send a verification email to the address you provided.

5. Verify Your Email

   
   

   Check your inbox (and spam/junk folder) for an email from SWAPP. Open the email and click the verification link to activate your account. If you don’t receive the email, see the troubleshooting section below.

Signing Up as a Fellowship Group

If you’re not a traditional church but a fellowship group—like a soulwinning team or community group—you can still use SWAPP! When prompted for your “Church Name” during signup, simply enter the name of your fellowship group. For example, a user from Sweden successfully signed up by entering their fellowship group name (May 5, 2019). SWAPP is designed to support all groups passionate about unity and communication, regardless of their structure. Keep in mind it's features are geared toward facilitating the church members with the tools needed to impact their community.

Troubleshooting Email Verification Issues

Some users have reported issues with email verification, such as not receiving the verification email or seeing errors like “account already exists”. Here’s what to do:

• Check Your Spam/Junk Folder: Sometimes, the verification email may end up in your spam or junk folder. Be sure to check there if you don’t see it in your inbox.

• Wait a Few Minutes: There may be a slight delay in email delivery. Wait 5-10 minutes before taking further action.

• Request a New Verification Email: If you still haven’t received the email, go to the login page on thesoulwinningapp.com, click Forgot Password or try to login again it will automatically send another verification email if the email you entered during the sign up process was the same.

• Verify Your Email Address: Double-check that you entered the correct email address during signup. If there was a typo, you may need to contact support to update it.
