Beyond that, logging in to The Soulwinning App (SWAPP) is straightforward, whether you’re using the mobile app on your phone or accessing the web version on your computer. However, some users have encountered challenges, such as confusion between email and phone number logins, admin access issues, or browser compatibility problems. In this guide, we’ll walk you through the steps to log in on both platforms, clarify password usage, recommend the best browser for the web version, and provide solutions for one-time password (OTP) issues.
Logging In on the SWAPP Custom Church Mobile App (Phone)
The SWAPP mobile app is available for both Android and iOS devices, making it easy to manage your outreach efforts on the go. Here’s how to log in:
Open the SWAPP App
Launch the SWAPP app on your phone. You can download it from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) if you haven’t already. Use this link to download: https://www.thesoulwinningapp.com/app-features/download
Choose Your Login Method
Select your Login method for the mobile APP On the login screen, you’ll have two options:
Email Login: Enter the email address you used during signup.
Phone Number Login: (Recommended) Enter your phone number to receive a one-time password (OTP) via SMS.
Enter Your Credentials
Paste OTP from your messages to login. Or use email and password. If using email, enter your email address and the password you set during signup (not the OTP).
(Recommended) If using your phone number, enter the number, request an OTP, (One Time Password) and input the code you receive via SMS.
Log In
To finish logging in you need to search for and find your your church. If your church has not been registered you will not be able to finish the login process until your church is registered. If it is, find your church and log in to it. You’ll now be able to view maps, manage prospects, and track your outreach activities.
Logging In on the Web Version (Computer)
The web version of SWAPP allows you to manage your outreach from a computer, offering a larger screen for mapping and administration tasks. Follow these steps:
Visit the SWAPP Website
Open your web browser and go to thesoulwinningapp.com.
Click on Log In
Login to the SWAPP Dashboard Look for the Log In button, typically located in the top-right corner of the homepage, and click it.
Enter Your Email and Password
Login to SWAPP custom church app dashbaord The web version requires you to log in with your email address (not your phone number). Enter the email you used during signup and registering your church and the password you set at that time (not an OTP).
Log In
Click Log In to access your dashboard. From here, you can create maps, manage your team, and view analytics.
Browser Recommendation: Use Google Chrome
For the best experience on the web version, we recommend using Google Chrome. We use Lots of Google Map APIs so that is why we recommend google chrome. You can download Chrome here: https://www.google.com/chrome/.
Troubleshooting OTP Issues on the Mobile App
Some users, such as Donna Knorr on July 1, 2023, reported issues with receiving the one-time password (OTP) when logging in via phone number. Here’s how to resolve this:
Check Your Phone Number: Ensure you entered the correct phone number, including the country code (e.g., +1 for the USA).
Request a New OTP: If you don’t receive the code within a minute, tap Resend OTP on the login screen. You should get it pretty quick, depending on your Internet connection but every once in a while, it does take a little bit longer to arrive.
Check Your Signal: A weak mobile signal can delay SMS delivery. Move to an area with better reception and try again.
Use Email Login Instead: If the OTP still doesn’t arrive, switch to email login using the email address and password you set during signup.

Admin Access Issues
Some users faced issues logging in due to admin access restrictions. If you see a message like “not an admin account exists with this email,” it may mean your account doesn’t have admin privileges. Here’s what to do:
Check with Your Church Admin: If your pastor or another leader signed up your church, they may have the admin account. Ask them to grant you admin access via the team management section on the dashboard.
